Peace on Earth Doves & Christmas Tree Door Hanger

A little bit folk art, a little bit storybook. Two white doves carrying olive branches fly in toward a tall Christmas tree filled with swirling gold filigree, topped with a red star and surrounded by bright white starbursts against a deep navy background.

“Peace on Earth” is set in an ornate, old-fashioned lettering with curling flourishes, and the whole scene is framed by a border of butter-yellow leaves and branches dotted with red berries. The tree’s scrollwork sits over a brighter blue layer so the pattern really stands out, and there’s a lot of detail to take in up close.

It has a quieter, more traditional feel than most Christmas signs without being plain or sleepy. Hang it on the front door through the season, or set it on a mantel or entry table where people can see the details. A thoughtful gift for anyone whose Christmas centers more on the meaning than the Santa side of things.
