Merry Christmas Lights Door Hanger

Old-school Christmas lights, the big chunky bulbs everyone’s grandparents strung along the gutters, looping all the way around a bold red sign. The cord tangles and swirls in and out of the edge so it looks like someone gave up on untangling the strand and just hung it up anyway.

“Merry” is written in a loose white script, with “Christmas” below in a curly, decorative lettering that has a lot of personality. The yellow, green, blue and orange bulbs are raised off the background, so the colors pop and catch a little shadow on the door.

It’s cheerful, a little nostalgic, and fun without being kitschy. Hang it on the front door, or prop it on a mantel or entry table once the tree goes up. An easy gift for the person who still insists on the colored lights over the white ones.
